The Start of Being a Prince William Lookalike

Since I can remember I’ve always had people stop and tell me, “Don’t you look like…” and, yes, if I did have a pound for every time I heard those few words, then I’d be a happy man!

I never imagined that looking like someone famous or someone in the limelight could offer so many opportunities. My friends have always suggested that I joined a look-alike agency, but to be honest its not something that I gave a serious thought. One day in June 2010, I received an email from a lookalike agency, thanking me for my pictures. After realising that this wasn’t spam destined for the recycle bin I read on…

As it turns out, a friend of mine had sent in various pictures of me (without my consent I might add)! I haven’t told her, but I’m actually very grateful as things have been a little more interesting of late!

I was invited to my first job as ‘Wills’ . This was to be a photo shoot for the Sunday Times Magazine  instrumented by photographer Alison Jackson, who is well known for creating scenes of lookalikes in some times controversial positions! Read more about it in the next blog post..
