DIA CHICAGO 2011

I’ve been busy working on a couple of films, so have neglected to update the blog! It has been a short while since my trip to Chicago for Exco InTouch exhibit at the annual Drug Information Association. Exco InTouch are the leading provider of regulatory compliant patient management solutions to the BioPharmaceutical and Health care sectors.

The team were a really great bunch of people and they made us feel very welcome – so thanks again. Would love to re-visit Chicago on some downtime as there seems to be plenty to see and do. Basically whilst on the job we were posing for pictures with the willing passers by! (As seen below)

It was a great way to attract some attention – so bare this in mind for your next PR Stunt! Working hard was obviously followed by playing hard….

Daily Mail / Wedding Speech

Firstly this week I gave a speech to the Daily Mail’s YOU Magazine at a club, kitted out in the Irish Guards uniform. It is the first time I’ve given a speech to a large corporate group. I’ve been very used to public speaking whilst I was studying at Uni and whilst serving in the Cadets – but this is another kettle of fish! All in all, very happy with how it turned out. It was a good evening and once I had packed up and was in the taxi, I was greeted with, ‘Do you know who you look like? You could make some money out of that’ to which I replied, ‘I might just think about that!’ Also just completed a Best Man’s speech with Fraser which we recorded at Windsor with the Castle as a backdrop. This will be played at his friends wedding (was a great idea!) Was a real pleasure working with Fraser and I look forward to seeing the footage.

Spotted this in the Daily Mail after…too true!!

Corporate Gigs & Virgin Re-Cap

Its nearly a month on since the wedding and inevitably the lookalike work has slowed down(lets face it working 7 days a week wasn’t going to last forever!) Plenty of job offers still coming in, only this time the predominate jobs are now appearances at corporate events rather than media orientated photo shoots etc. Had a great job at The Sheraton – Park Lane Hotel just the other night and myself and Kate Bevan had the pleasure of meeting Chris Patten who was the last British Governor of Hong Kong – unfortunately I didn’t have my camera to hand on this job!

Also wanted to say a big thank you to Pete Davies (award winning photographer) for some fantastic pictures from the Virgin Job that myself and Collette Mullarkey attended.

Virgin Holidays – London Marathon

Myself and Collette Mullarkey have been working together recently and one of our jobs at the weekend was for Virgin Holidays. We were on the Silver Sturgeon, docked at Savoy Pier on Embankment. What an awesome treat, I’ve never seen the Marathon before- we definitely had the best seats in the house. Virgin know how to do events! The boat was a mixture of clients and celebs. After we finished our work we had the pleasure of socialising whilst enjoying the food and drink. The picture above is from the photo booth which they had on board…when I get a hold of some professional pictures from the day, I’ll post them.

William And Kate: Inside The Royal Wedding DVD / Dublin Photo Call

The DVD is out now! Made my first appearance on hard copy. I haven’t seen the footage but my friends stateside said its worth a watch…Managed to grab a screenshot off the trailer on play.com

This is actually myself and Collette Mullarkey, not the royal couple! We were acting as them and even had the real Paps turn up wanting a piece of the action, pretty surreal day. This was the first day I met Collette(Puffy) and almost mistook her for Jodie (very similar!) the rest is history! Had a busy couple of days on some more Photo Shoots, one in Windsor and one in Dublin today. I was working with Kate Bevan – bless her, she was throwing up all day but still managed to pull it out the bag…a true pro. Can’t tell you anymore about either jobs(except for the fact I got kissed by a heroin addict-but thats another story!!) once I get the all clear, I’ll reveal all…(here is a little sneak preview)

Also I managed to get a copy of one of the press photos from the photo call in Edinburgh last week with Jodie… The week ahead is bringing some exciting jobs, looking forward to it.
