Ping Pong – Birmingham

Myself and Kate Bevan were hired to help promote Ping! which has been rolled out across the country with 56 Table Tennis tables scattered around the city centre of Birmingham. It is free for anyone to have a go and a great way to spend a lunch break from busy city life! The idea is to encourage all ages to pick up a paddle whilst leading up to the Olympics in 2012.

Corporate Gigs & Virgin Re-Cap

Its nearly a month on since the wedding and inevitably the lookalike work has slowed down(lets face it working 7 days a week wasn’t going to last forever!) Plenty of job offers still coming in, only this time the predominate jobs are now appearances at corporate events rather than media orientated photo shoots etc. Had a great job at The Sheraton – Park Lane Hotel just the other night and myself and Kate Bevan had the pleasure of meeting Chris Patten who was the last British Governor of Hong Kong – unfortunately I didn’t have my camera to hand on this job!

Also wanted to say a big thank you to Pete Davies (award winning photographer) for some fantastic pictures from the Virgin Job that myself and Collette Mullarkey attended.

The eve before the big day

Seems like so long ago now! I think its fair to say, I’ve taken a little break from all things Will & Kate (its been great!) Fallen behind on the blogging, so here we go. The picture above is myself and Kate Bevan just hanging out in the Green Room of the ITV studios – have fond memories of that place as it was my first live TV interview back in December on Daybreak. Met some great people including Ken Wharfe who was a former bodyguard for Princess Diana.

After our stint at Upper Ground we were onto the next job at the Media Centre for Australian TV – we caused quite a stir around the palace, especially as some people were enjoying a few drinks…Had the pleasure of meeting Rolf Harris, even though I see him around my neck of the woods on many an occasion! The vibe around the palace was great… felt really privaledged that week to experience what I did. Kate and I didn’t finish till about 3am…

Also I managed to meet someone who was lucky enough to have one of these rather exclusive invites!! (That would deffinatley go on the wall in my bathroom!)

Wills (aka. Andy Walker) goes Strictly with Erin Boag

Firstly, let me just say Erin Boag((Strictly Come Dancing) is a legend…didn’t have a clue what to expect when I was told I would have to do some ballroom dancing. The only time I cut shapes is on the dance floor of a club after a few beverages! Erin has a great skill to make complete novices feel comfortable…I managed to get a few tips off her before Kate Bevan arrived. It didn’t take long to pick up the Waltz, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying I’m a natural! Once Kate and I arrived we completed the filming for out ‘first dance’ – absolutely loved it…never thought I would enjoy any kind of dancing without the influence of alcohol, but I was proved wrong… I recommend doing this with your partner! I hope to pursue this when my schedule calms down, which isn’t looking too likely soon!!

ITV’s Daybreak / Canadian News

Participated in some filming with Georgia Kenneally for ITV’s Daybreak as part of an April Fool’s prank(VT ahead of Alison Jackson Interview)…which there seemed to be an abundance of lookalike related stunts, two of which have yet to be released in the papers which I had photo shoots for. Spent Friday filming for Canadian News channel with Mrs.Kate Bevan, and thankfully I’ve had the day off catching up with some pals in Oxford(thankfully no royal related convo!)
